So my sister was booked our stay on airbnb- VM1
Very nice interior and its just on the heart of Bangkok situated on the right of Phaholyothin Soi 1 and within walking distance from the iconic Victory monument. Providing convenience and access to all significant major locations simultaneously. The BTS Sanampao is within walking distance.

Relaxing area for everyone to meet and greet new friends.
Soap, shampoo are provided. Hair Dryer is available too!
It cost myr268 per person for 5 nights!
So the accommodation was quite good, environment is really nice!
Actually what we want too experience is the backpacker's life but failed, we bring like a lot of luggage AHHAHAHA
ADDRESS” 815 Phahonyothin Rd, Khwaeng Samsen Nai, Khet Phaya Thai, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10400, Thailand
BANGKOK WIFI/ 4G SIM card
Having wifi made it incredibly easy to get around Bangkok, so I highly recommend shelling out for a prepaid SIM card if you have an unlocked phone. We each opted for a 7-day SIM card for 299 baht, and all you need is your passport to purchase one. I wanna stay connected on my holiday in Thailand and share vacations photos ! Phewwwww~
BANGKOK TIME
Take note that Malaysia is 1 hour ahead of Bangkok.
THAILAND VISA
Citizens of Malaysia are permitted to stay in Thailand up to 30 days if entering via international airport and up to 15 days if entering through a land border checkpoint from a neighboring country (Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia) under the Visa Exemption Rule.
GETTING AROUND
TRAIN (BTS Skytrain/ MRT)
A cheap way to get around Bangkok is via the BTS. You can purchase tickets from the ticket booth or machines in every stations.
UBER/GRAB
Thankfully uber/grab is now available in Bangkok!!!!
TUKTUK
Honestly, you can use it for short distance ride !
Okay lets start!!!!
DAY 1
The time we reached Bangkok consider night time. So the first day after touching down in Bangkok, we sit van to our Airbnb.
Then we went to Ratchada train market had our dinner!I
We went there at 6pm night.
And, there was one tonyam noodles that we can never be skipped!! Its lobster tonyam noodles 龍蝦麵! I love the taste especially it taste like spicy, sweet n sour damn good!!
We try also the grilled fish known as plapao taste like heavenly too, the fish is seabass and wrapped in aluminium foil and grilled to perfection. It had a thai green chillie sauce that goes well as a dip.
Tender, juicy and smoky barbecued pork slices on sticks. If I can only have one dish in Thailand, it has got to be Moo Ping. These Thai style pork skewers are beautifully marinated in a sweet-tasting sauce before going onto the grill. So tasty and flavoursome.
Watermelon juice
Best drink to have to combat the sweltering heat in Bangkok.
One of the top Thai desserts to try. I’m so hooked onto mango sticky rice with big, thick chunks of sweet, juicy mango. The sticky rice is neither hard nor soft and is perfectly flavoured with a tasty coconut milk sauce !
Of course some sweetening stuff after the main course, but I'm really don't recommend this.. taste like ewwwwww.....ice cream and bread also not nice!!!!
Day 2
Woke up early and headed to the Chatuchak weekend market. We taking BTS to there, since it was quite near from our Airbnb . I've never been to a market this big, with this much variety--within the first ten minutes we had already purchased a lot of shirts!! We also ended up with vintage sunglasses, bags, tons of trendy clothing, all purchased at crazy low prices!!!
Their street food is ridiculously amazing. We were obsessed with the coconut ice cream!!! It really taste good!!!
Again, another cholesterol-laden dish. But who cares as we don’t eat quail eggs all the time. YOLO – so don’t worry, be happy. These are like mini (cute-looking) sunny side ups served atop a bed of shredded cabbage/ any ingredients!
After walking around for a while, nothing beats a good massage and so I decided to ease into things with a traditional Thai massage (250 baht, for 45 mins) at Chatuchak market!
with dad ;p
We also feasted on lots of noodles and rice.
Had our lunch at random store, which was serving good food!
Some random juice we had ordered.
This cream puff really soft and nice, we bought one only at first and tried it omgg so good we purchase another one, just feeling NOT ENOUGH!!!!!
And once done, we couldn't wait to just get back to our Airbnb and get refreshed with a quick shower! Since we're all carrying lots of stuff, we didn't want to squeeze on the train hence a tuktuk instead.
And of course, not missing out the highly rated After You Dessert Cafe!!!
We waited for about 30 minutes for our desserts.
We ordered Shibuya Honey Toast, Shibuya Chocolate Toast and it was probably..... the BEST toast I've ever tried. It's groundbreaking-ly awesome. The whole idea about this Shibuya toast is actually very simple. It’s well toasted soft fluffy thick toast with melted butter evenly infused into every single slice of the toast.
Under the scorching heat, you might want to stop for something refreshing. The Kakigori is your saviour. We ordered Thai tea kakigori and Hojitcha kakigori. It’s cool shaved ice topped with syrup. The taste is beyond expectation. It is very delicious, definitely satisfied your sweet taste bud. Lots of goodies hidden beneath the ice. Can’t stop digging it.
Nonetheless, highly recommended! :)
My mum very cute she keep on mentioning this end up she purchased herself, LOL
Its durian ice cream but it taste really DURIAN I can't take it
sigh****
JJ Green Night Market might just be the coolest place to shop in Bangkok, with its much more chilled-out.
The difference between the two is Chatuchak has more tourists shopping, JJ Green has more Thai shoppers. JJ Green has better restaurants and food, but the market is much smaller. You'll also notice that JJ Green sells used goods as well and a lot of the market does not have official stalls.
We had dinner and shop over there for awhile.
As in raining plus too tired so went back earlier by tut tut.
JJ Green Market Opening Hours: Thurs - Sun 17:00 – 02:00 MRT: Chatuchak
BTS: Mo Chit
Address: 1 Kamphaeng Phet 3, Chatuchak, Bangkok
Day 3
I was feeling super refreshed, woke up early and started our sightseeing.
Up to our van to Damnoen Floating Market.
They were showing the route we going to take.
The notion seeing river houses raised on stilts and farmers selling their produce and wares on wooden boats felt so exotic.
Boats can range from a cheap row boat (around 200-300 baht)
As you can see will be a lot of food selling on boat, so we had our lunch on boat too!
what a good experience :p
Vain on boat is a must!!!!!
Then we heading to the famous and interesting and sometimes exciting Maeklong Railway Market.
A train runs through the Maeklong Railway Market 7 times a day (7 days a week). In the morning, the train passes by the market 4 times.
The action at Maeklong Railway Market begins just about 4-5 minutes before the train is due to pass by the market. One moment, you might see the locals shopping for their vegetables and the next moment, some vendors will begin packing their boxes of vegetables/meats and just as the siren (signalling the train is coming), the market comes alive with the vendors keeping their low-lying awnings, umbrellas – practically anything that lies over the train tracks.
Once the train is gone, the vendors push back the stalls and awnings into position and resume its business again as if nothing has happened.
Vain time again xd
On the railway while the train haven't arrive!
The roasted duck is must-order! I have no idea why the duck tasted so tender and well cooked.
After our fulfilling lunch, we decided to went to Tesco to have our snacks shopping! Because we had book the van for whole day so we can buy as much as we can without keep on taking it!!! So smart right!
Koh Kae Peanut Snack
Everyone loves these Koh Kae Peanut Snacks!!!!!
2 In 1 Flavoured Lay’s Chips
Bento Squid
Its name is seemingly harmless, but do not—I repeat, DO NOT—be fooled. The spice in this dried squid snack will have you gulping copious amounts of water and sniffing continuously as you chew on it!!
Lotus brand snacks chicken legs
This is a snacks that shape as drumstick!!
How cute is this..
Everyone will fall in love with this tasty yummy little drumstick.
There is 2 selection of flavour
~ Spicy
~BBQ
I can’t stop eating!!!!
Thai Brand Instant Noodles
Amphawa Floating Market
The Amphawa Floating Market is located about 1.5 – 2 hours away from Bangkok depending on the traffic. Although it is technically open all week, it really comes alive on the weekends when local Thai people from Bangkok flock there for a bit of shopping and fresh seafood.
I visited at night time and was not at all disappointed by my experience. It turned out to be a great trip to escape the city (though not the crowds!). Of course, I wandered along the canal where many shops are set up selling all kinds of things such as Amphawa souvenirs, clothing, food, and sweets.
yes I bought some souvenirs for myself, its designed by local designer!
And get to try local handmade ice cream!!!! Its taste really special, they have like a lot of weird flavour! As you can see the photo shown below, I choose to have their banana flavour as this always my first choice of ice cream flavour for any brand !! I Must say it taste really sticky and yummy, my dad missed out this so he is quite disappointed! Must try!!!
Moreover,we have a boat tour to see views and lifestyles along Amphawa Canal. At night, and we arrange for a boat trip to watch fireflies in cork trees as a fascinating night scene of the day. The feeling of dark night on the river its amazing!!!
Their 7-11 just like taiwan/Japan/korea. Full of choices and nice food too. I'm always loving the thailand version of Yakult Drinks. Ok...everything here was still cheap if compare to others! AHAHAHA Enjoy their hot dog too yum yum~
Day 4
Erm I had a bad fever on the last night, so I can't even walk out and join my family to The Grand palace. So here are just their photos that they share with me!
Despite the heat and thousands of people, my family also not agree I joining too, it will cause my fever more bad!
They said: Before you enter The Grand Palace in Bangkok you need to go through a bag search. Here you will need your ID. If you travel with a group only one person needs the document.
Remember to dress appropriately – women can wear long trousers, a skirt or a dress (they should be long, or at least down to your knees) and a top that covers their shoulders. Men need to wear long pants. Even if you have long shorts it won’t be enough. Men should also cover their shoulders. Covered shoes are recommended, but not required. If you are not wearing appropriate clothing, don’t worry. You can rent everything in a building just next to the main entrance. Deposit is 200 Baht.
After slept for the whole morning I'm feeling better so I join my family on the noon to
Platinium Fashion mall
Before went for shopping, I had lunch on the most higher floor which is food court.
The food really cincai cincai also nice eh and super crowded!
-Shopping time-
Which I had been dying to go to. PLATINIUM was completely insane, and I couldn't believe how many little clothing stalls were crammed into the huge complex, and how many great deals there were. Entire stalls full of dresses for 100 baht ?!? YES PLEASE. I kind of had a bit of a shopping blackout while I was here, so my memory is a little hazy, but I do remember being tempted to buy a lot of small tiny bag XD
End up we have to bought a big luggage, bought too many liao ><
ofcoz not to miss out some nice photoshooting places xd
Address: 644/3 Phetchaburi Rd, Khwaeng Thanon Phetchaburi, Khet Ratchathewi, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10400, Thailand

Asiatique
Finally, we’ve made our way to Asiatique The Riverfront!
This is one of the most popular night markets in the city — Every market in Bangkok has its own individual qualities to recommend it, and vibrant Asiatique is bursting with sights and sounds to enliven the senses.
Sure, you’ll find some great traditional Thai souvenirs and handicrafts here, but you’ll also find plenty of more upscale offerings at this stunning riverside venue!
To experience the views from headier heights you can even take a ride on Asiatique Sky — a giant ferris wheel — to take in Bangkok’s impressive vistas.
The market is open daily from 17.00 until midnight.
If you are wondering, ”What is this?”, this pot from Jeh O Chula (some spell the eatery as “Jae Oh”) is essentially instant noodles in Tom Yum soup.
Isn’t it JUST instant noodles? Right.
Although Jeh O is opened from 5:30pm onwards, this star dish is only available from 11pm and closes at 2:00am or so.
I made my way to 113 Charat Muang Road by grab car!
Th good thing was, waiting diners would be given queue numbers, and the server would call your number with a loud hailer. And there were some seats.
Got in after a 20 minute wait or so.
This was available in pork ball version (120 baht), seafood (180 baht) or all-in (250 baht). And portion is good for sharing between 2 to 3 hungry souls.
Took a sip and LOVED IT!
Somehow the Tom Yum soup base just tasted more appetising than the usual, mildly spicy, moderately thick, and zesty with lime slices.
Crispy fried pork
Too spicy I can take it so I bought my favourite banana ice cream, this stall is just outside jeh o chula!
Day 5
Free and easy walking around at siam paragon and siam square area!
Then I have my lunch at SIAM PARAGON
All the braised pig rices I had tried in Bangkok so far were the best I ever had, very meaty and tasty. Served with preserved vegetables and egg on the side. Very satisfying meal.
So free n easy means - Cafe Hoping Day!
Our first attempt cafe —
Matchbox, a multi-label fashion store where you can find cool items with reasonable price.
This is a perfect stop to take a rest when you’re too tired shopping around Siam Square.
Here, they serve cute snacks like Taco Icecream and Teddy Milkshake, and there are many spots for you to enjoy taking picture, too!
So many things sold out!!!!
So pinkish so nice!!!
Dont forget to mentioned their cute macaron ice cream comes with different cartoon characters!! Its taste quite good also!
