August 09, 2017

Well, I'm so glad that I finally made it to Seoul for the 2nd time in my life with my boyfie XD Booked our flight tickets in late June, and unfortunately we had no other choice but stay up to 6 hours at Bangkok Airport due to the last min decision. Korea is famous with mural village recently, as last time I went to Ihwa mural village now I going another one! Start my first destination now to Song Yue Dong Fairy Village 松月洞童話 !
Get into the sign of Song due dong fairy town village!!

This village is real village residents live in. So you can meet people living there. This village is decorated by painting the houses, installing window frames...
It was a 3Dimension compared to other fairy tale villages. As you can see in pictures.
There are lots of places to take pictures!
Why don't you visit Incheon for your next trip to Korea?

Ofcourse I'm hungry for whole morning, we had buffet at this restaurant!

Gyeongbokgung Palace
Im loving to immerse myself in their culture so here I'm paying a 2nd visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Gyeongbokgung was the main and largest palace of the five grand palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. Gyeongbokgung literately means "Palace of Shining Happiness".
This is the 2nd time I went here, last time I had watched the royal guard ceremony! This time we are not on time so we missed it!! So here's The Royal Guard Changing ceremony is held at Gyeongbokgung Palace 6 times a day from 10:00 to 15:00 at every hour except Tuesday.
– Guard Changing Ceremony: 10am / 1pm / 3pm.
– Guard Exiting Ceremony: 11am / 2pm / 4pm.

From the entrance to the main entrance will be able to feel the deep historical and cultural atmosphere.

As for us, we came here for the architecture. We love the beauty that oozes out of every corner of this place; that effortlessly beautify all our photos.

Contrast to the modernity and historical buildings!

National Folk Museum is South Korea's most representative museum of life and culture, where the display of the Korean folk history, human culture and living customs. Want to know more about the history of Korean life, here is definitely a must not miss the attractions.
The exhibition is free of charge and the opening hours will vary slightly from season to week. So we bought our ticket and go in to The National Folk Museum of Korea to have a look! Mostly they showcases thousands of historical artifacts to illustrate the traditional daily lives of Korean people in the olden days.

The interior space also has a clear area mark.

National Folk Museum is divided into three parts: Korean National Life History Museum, Korean daily life and Korean life.
 Traditional wedding ceremony :)
Korean festivals and wedding will be prepared when the high point, imitation was very real!

There are rich historical value of cultural relics, porcelain, books!

Flight to Jeju Island

 #Airbusan

Dinner- Sha rak restaurant
Jeju is also famous for its abundance of seafood, and in particular its abalone.

As a result, abalone dishes were an incredible value here, which was perfect for an abalone-lover like myself.
At almost every meal we had a dish that contained abalone, like this stewed hotpot above. *they're still moving actually*

After dinner, we checked in at Astar Hotel! Finally after a whole day, super tiring and exhausted, just simply had a quick shower and went down to 7-11 have a shop!
YESSSS!!! Bought their famous snacks, noodles, drinks and etc to have a try.
The minion one really nice to drink, its banana flavour kind of milk!
The snacks also taste very good!

Yongduam Rock 龍頭岩

The day after arriving in Korea, we are at Jeju Island. Many Asian countries have a must-visit offshore island. For South Korea, the top island destination is undoubtedly -
Jeju Island

Jeju is certainly full of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and here’s another one. Known as Sunrise Peak to non-Korean speaking tourists, it is famed for the picturesque sunrise scenic views one can enjoy at the peak.

After having our breakfast, we are ready to heading out!

Today sight- Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak 城山日出峰

At first glance, it looks like a giant fortress, with 99 rocks surrounding it at the top. But don’t be fooled, Seongsan Ilchubong is an actual extinct volcano with a huge crater at the top, not unlike Mount Hallasan. Located in the eastern part of Jeju Island, the morning can see a very beautiful sunrise, hence the name of the sunrise peak. In fact, after climbing the top of the mountain but can not see the scenery around, because the peak of the mountain peak of the mountain is flat irregular volcano.

Yes we are here ready to hiking up Seongsan Ilchubong Sunrise Peak, The first part of hike up is the easiest step, all people recommended wear covered sport shoes as there are slightly bumpy pathways.
Here is the ticket price!
Going up slowly...

The final stretch of the hike up the Sunrise Peak gets very steep!
After about 45 minutes of walking and stopping to catch a breath, we finally reached the top of the peak!!
From here, you are able to view the beautiful Jeju island from as far as shown in the next few photos. This is one of the moments where I can check out the beautiful landscape of Jeju Island from this Seongsan Ilchulbong vantage point.
Not yet on the top of the hill, down overlooking the beauty.

I can only appreciate the “wwwowww” of the amazing landscape view
by reviewing the photos above.

Jeju Island is a statue of the sea woman, these women can not use special equipment, sneak into the sea fishing abalone, sea cucumber, conch, kelp and other seafood.
You can spot the women divers - hanyeos is selling the catches of the day!

The downhill walk was a much easier task – there are wooden stairs meandering its way down Seongsan Ilchulbong.

#ootd
The air in Jeju Island really fresh, breathing by facing the sea it helps releasing heavy work pressure.

There's few shop selling tangerine snacks/ ice cream/ drinks!!
Ofcourse i must try!!!! Super miss the tangerine flavour ice cream now :l

Horse Riding at Jeju Island
One of the unique experiences you can do in Jeju Island is horse riding. The only place where you can ride on the beautiful Jeju Island's beach, the horse riding park is especially known for its spectacular scenery.

Lets suit up and meet our horse!
Actually im nervous and get afraid by horses :x

Besides, Here have a cafe and car riding club beisde the horse riding place.
So we had a chill in cafe and have a fun ride of phungphungcar!
We must choose any hat to cover our head so i had a crabbie for myself XD

Here's the cafe! So pinky and nice interior inside:)

#ootd

There was folk village museum called Seongeup folk village
Once we have reached the village, We get introduced to a local of the village who was very glad to tour us around the place.
As water was very less in this village so they had to find ways on how to preserve for daily usage. One resourceful technique they have thought hundred of years ago was to set up jars near trees, in the branch was a straw that cleans the rainwater coming down from the leaves to the containers. I looked inside and the water looked clean enough for washing dishes, taking a bath, etc.

The place has about a thousand thatched roof house that were made volcanic lava stones and clay that helped demonstrate how the people of Jeju used to live back then.

This is a must-visit if you are particularly interested in the local Jeju culture.
Trying out the local drinks from them!

We had the island's specialty black pork pig as lunch, we did not pass the opportunity to try it, of course! We have been deprived the other day from meat, so we were so excited to finally have some of this, which was said to be very nutritious and that's a big plus. The meat is not black, but was called by its name due to the black hair of the pig.
Its buffet kind of lunch, the meat is refillable and we cooked ourselves!

I love to eat this way with vegetable!

After our lunch, we went to Orange Garden 橘子园.We came to the roadside an orange garden, into the experience of the fun of the orange farm!
 So BIG the orange!!!

#ootd

Teddy bear musuem at Jeju island- Beary special Fun!
Located a short 15-minute drive from Jeju International Airport.
If you love bears, this is the place for you. Nice concept and giant bears and the antique bears, definitely not to be missed. A visit to one of these museums is a step back in time to our childhood that will put on a smile on your faces.

Here we meet them and their relatives in the oversized house in Fairyland! At the teddy castle, It’s a dream come true for young prince- and princess-wannabe in the Teddy Castle zone. Round off your visit with a big bear hug at the Biggy Zone, with a giant bear in the play area littered with bean bags.

Trick art musuem 3D Gallery 3D奧妙藝術馆
When 2D paintings become 3D illusions, i had fun at the Alive musuem in Jeju!
Im amazed with neat magic tricks and illusions you can see on TV, so I was pretty ecstatic to know they had this sort of display in Korea as well. Where it is divided into five districts, there are fairy tales, film plot and world famous paintings, all play 3D illusion, full of imagination and creativity, so take pictures should be "enough to play"
 hahah !!!
There was a huge carving of ice, where you can slide.

Very cold inside!!!!

In the city of Jeju Island, there is a long 200 ~ 300 meters of the road named Mysterious Road 神奇之路 . The road looks like a slope, but when you place a plastic bottle or stop on the road, you will find a strange phenomenon, the bottle or the car will automatically slide up the uphill road. Is there a supernatural power to push it? It is incredible!
yay i never forget to have some snacks :p
I guess whichever nature that looks like something can easily be a tourist attraction. Put your hands up if you agree with me. :)

Having our dinner quite early then we visit the last scenery!
Of course some of them are filled with history background that makes the nature more attractive. Yongduam rock 龍頭岩 is a famous attractions that must visit! Yongduam Rock when translated to Mandarin is Rock of Dragon Head. See the second picture below, does the rock looks like dragon head?
