First day, woke up in 4am in the early morning, need catch my flight at 7am Penang - kl
They even prepared the inflight meal- assorted sandwiches
Ahhhh so sweet because I haven’t had any food in the morning! Taste so delicious, have 4 flavour of choice: savoury chicken slice; cheese, chunky egg mayo, tangy tuna mayo and creamy crab-stick mayo.
Then we meet up and start check in.
So happy! And we sit like front row some more :D

Reached Kunming around 6pm, had our dinner at 小刀鴨 which is a halal restaurant, but serving good food!
Enjoyed our dinner then shop awhile at the nearest mall, bought some cosmetic, enjoying those pretty macaroons,
and bought this yoghurt to try!

In the morning, had our breakfast done then move up to Kunming Tourism Product Promo Conference, Mr LIYUAN, director of international devision, Kunming tourism development committee promoting to us about the KUNMING tourism, like where to play, where to eat and where to go!

Yunnan Ethnic Village
To climb the ladder of knife to make a wish for other!

They even show the map in this Yunnan village incase you miss out any places!

Move on to next destination - Dianchi Lake
The Dianchi Lake Scenic Area is located in the southwest part of Kunming City. There are numerous attractions along the lake captivating tourists.
Yes we have to ride on cable car !

The Longmen Scenic area
A wide variety of natural beauty can be seen here: the imposing gully itself, the graceful hills, the elegant spring, and the sheer waterfall.

Next destination - Kunming Haidong Wetland Park
The park itself is a series of paths that stretch for probably a mile or more all-told past freshwater marshes. The plantings of flowers and grasses are obviously purposefully designed and planted!

1st destination - Stone forest
It was such an amazing nature creation. It's really a forest of stones. The arrangements of the stones are pretty much stand alone.

The downside is the place is overcrowded.
HAD YOU SPOT THE HEAD ON THE STONE? HMMM
I suggest if you wanna get to to the small stone forest, just walk there instead of taking the bus. It's worth it and definitely less tourist! So we are on the shuttle taking us to the stone forest that have lesser people ~~
Seeing this quieter area makes the visit a totally different experience but it takes time to enjoy it all.

Underground Karst Cave Wonders - Jiuxiang Scenic Area
Jiuxiang Scenic Area not only has beautiful landscapes but also displays the custom and culture of the Yi and Hui minorities. Here, you can appreciate lush forests, narrow canyons and underground caves.
First, we ride on a boat enjoyed the scenic ~

Then we start to climb up n down in the caves~
The main scenic spots of the Jiuxiang Scenic Area are Green Shady Valley, Grand Underground Valley, Grand Lion Hall, Twin Waterfalls, Fairy Fields and Bat Cave.
Yes you can see we hiking up n down ~~
Different-shaped stalactites and stalagmites, highlighted with colored lights, are bright and mysterious. On crossing Diehong Bridge, you enter Lying Dragon Cave.
This is really really nice when on the spot!
Continuing on, you can see Fairy Field, off to one side of the path. Layers of stalagmites, highlighted with colored lights, look like terraced fields. There is a huge conical stalactite shaped like a grain of cereal, bathed in a gold-yellow light.
PRAY
The next spot to visit is Bat Cave, also known as Underground Downturned Stone Forest. It used to have many bats living there, but now there only remains a stone ‘forest’ hanging upside down from the top of the cave.
Instead of walking again, we take Cable car wohooo~~~
There's is a ice cream shop nearby and I just grab it fastttttt phewww``
Then we had our dinner - mushroom hotpot
all of us Craving like crazy, because finally pork dishes!!!
Finished our satisfying dinner, we are ready for The Grand Original Native Song & Dance Show of ‘Dynamic Yunnan!!!!

Yuan Tong Temple is the most famous Buddhist temple in Kunming, Yunnan, China.

Visit Yunnan's Modern Historical Site - Yunnan Military Junwu Hall
The museum is in three sections with bilignual information boards and artefact labels.
Photos from the collection of Auguste François (1857-1935), who served as French consul in south China between 1896 and 1904, during which he spent several years in Kunming.
All of the works exhibited there were installations having to do with the idea of the classroom, looking to interrogate the changes in both Chinese traditional education and the Western educational model, and thinking about reactions to the process of modernization.
Lunch - 過橋米線 is a rice noodle soup from Yunnan, China. It is one of the most well-known dishes in Yunnan cuisine.
Feeling adventurous and want to try your hand at making this dish yourself.. put all the ingredients to the soup.

Next, Visit Asia's largest flower theme tourism complex - Flower City
City of Flower is a complex of a 4A-level scenic spot, shopping mall, hotel, spa centre, flower market and other industries. Located on eastern side of Kunming, about 20 minutes from Kunming Changshui International Airport ( we will move on to airport later so this arrange as our last stop) , it aims to attract more tourists from both home and abroad to have the one-stop experience of Yunnan’s dynamic ethnic culture and its rich flower culture.
Kunming, the “Spring City”, has been listed as the second most livable cities among other 40 in China. Here features in some of the most visited flower-themed destinations in Kunming, taking you to experience the city of flowers from dinning, living and beyond.
Entrance to the flower garden is through a media centre rather like a planetarium with a colourful visual briefing projected on the roof.
Flower mountain of peacock
This iconic design was created by Ren Shimin, a well-known sculptor who has adopted several rare stones to decorate it. The tail of the peacock is composed of 1.5 million colourful flowers, making it splendid from every angle.

Sino-French Spice Trade Cultural Experience Museum
With numerous items, this 3,800 square metres exhibition hall brings everything into life: the seawater, cargo ship, dock, “Opera Street”, “Versailles Palace”, etc. of the 300 year spice trade culture between China and France.
Its time to bought some souvenirs~

One night stay at Tune Hotel KLIA2
After reached KL, they arranged me stay at Tune hotel for one night and I will be back to Penang on the next day! So far The interior is clean and simple. OK I dc le, I'm too tired I just clean myself up and sleep!!
woke up before 10am just to enjoyed their breakfast !

Reached Penang around 2pm, seriously until now I'm still missing my buddy while I'm in Kunming trip. Everyone is so caring and helpful, we chat and laugh!
So happy to know each other, hope to see all of them in future again !! :p
